Keeping it simple

Smaller teams, a new safe layout for our offices and shop floor, enabling working from home where possible, and many of our team still on Furlough have all impacted on how we run our business. But all these measures are there to ensure we keep our team safe as we look to rebuild our business in line with the new normal.

Whilst we assessed demand, we initially couldn’t revert to our usual service level, however we are pleased that since the 1st June we have been back on our reliable day 1 for day 3 delivery schedule, with delivery days agreed with our customers.

That said, in order that we focus on meeting our service levels while not compromising the safety of our people we need a more focused and simple approach.  As such, we took the decision to support 97% of our customer demand through the most extensive stocked range in the market which enabled us to help our customers hit the ground running upon their return.

We are continually monitoring the ever-changing situation; however, people safety and business sustainability remain our top priorities.
